My visit was to have two tires checked due to screws being in them. I think it took too long for the replacement of two tires on two vehicles.I was there for over six (6) hours. I am accustom to going to dealerships with coffee, Bagels, donuts in the a.m. There was a Keurig coffee pot with no coffee supplies i n the service waiting area. You have to ask the service person in charge for a pod. You are given one pod, two little creamers, three packs of sugar and one cup. Then the Keurig needs to be serviced. There is an error code that is very visible. The Keurig looks like it has never been cleaned. The service areas is very nice with vending machines. I purchased a 2024 Tahoe from Open Road in October 2024. Based on my experience, I will probably not have my Tahoe serviced by Open Road in Union, NJ.

My car has been an issue since purchased. The service dept did not stand by their vehicle and take care if the issues. They are not normal wear and tear, all caused by issues with the car from the beginning. It is almost criminal the way I have been treated and all the money I have out into this car. I was so excited to purchase a new car and have been so disappointed the entire time. Nothing but problems. Open road should be able to find and fix issues so they do not cause new issues. I feel the issues with my car are all due to issues they missed from the begining and will never purchase another GM vehicle as they do not stand by their product.

Very disappointed! My service writer was Carlos Duquesne and he was very unprofessional. I understand they need to sell services to make commission but you don't act unprofessional when the customer denies having the service done. I came in because I had a msg on my dashboard that the brake sensor system needed to be checked. He told me that the sensor that sends that msg comes with the brake pads and that I needed new ones in the front. I told him that I had just replaced my front brake pads 3mths ago in March. The mechanic didn't even take a wheel off to get a better look at the pads I had to insist and get upset for him to do so. After looking at the brakes I told him if the pads were worn that I would be going back to where I had them replaced to see what they would say about this. Both Carlos and the mechanic laughed sarcastically and said simultaneously "why didn't you go there in the first place" like I was wasting there time. I would have but I thought the issue was a warranty item and not the pads. When I came in I am 100% sure I had all of my lug nuts but when I got my truck back I was missing the lock nut from the wheel that the mechanic had taken off. My lock key was in my center console but not where I had left it for him so he obviously used it to take the wheel off but didn't replace it out of spite! I asked Carlos to please have him give it back to me and the mechanic said the car didn't have it when it came in. I know this is Not true!! Carlos also wanted to charge me $120 diagnostic fee since I wasn't getting the brakes replaced there. I refused to paid this since he didn't have to do anything and only looked at the message and right away said I needed brake pads. I had to beg them to take the wheel off so that I could get a good look at the brake pads with them. I asked to speak to the manager who didn't come out to speak to me after a few minutes Carlos came back out and said I only had to play for the oil change and they were going to waive the diagnostic fee. When I realized I was missing the lock nut I asked to speak to the manager again who then came out to speak to me and was very sarcastic and very blase of the whole situation and basically said you can't prove that you came in with the nut. I asked him to look at the cameras I noticed that there are cameras inside of the service area. He instead showed me a little video clip that is made of the truck to see that there is no damage when it comes in or to show if there is damage and on that little clip video there was no way of seeing whether or not all of the lug nuts were on the wheels. I feel leaving without all of the lug nuts on the wheel is dangerous it's a safety issue!!! When I left open road I called another dealer and was able to make an appointment for the very next day. I had them check the same message on the screen and ask them to check my oil level because I had had the oil change done at Open road and didn't feel confident that everything was done properly at this point. I was told that the filter and the drain plug we're both loose and leaking. They told me that the brake pads did in fact need to be replaced they couldn't explain why my brake pads would be so low if I had just had them done in March but the fact of the matter is that they did need replacing and that the pads would come with the sensor that sends the signal to the screen. Very nice very professional I had them do the service and replace my pads which fixed the issue with the message on the screen and they returned my old brake pads so that I could take them back to where I had had the brakes done a few months prior to find out what had gone wrong. I was also able to purchase a new lock nut from the manufacturer after finding a number code like a key code in the baggie the lock key comes in with an 800 number. I am now waiting for it to arrive in the mail. Needless to say I purchased my Chevy Silverado 1500 from open road Chevy but I will never ever return to their service department. And I will think twice about going back and purchasing another vehicle from them as well. I lease all of my vehicles so every three or four years I get a new vehicle when my lease is over.

Service manager is very rude. Talks abruptly and no help. When my truck was done I paid my invoice. He handed me to key and said truck is outside. It was 95 degrees and I was searching for my truck. Asked lot attendant who refused to help me. I went back inside service dept and an employee went looking for my truck. He drove it up to where I was waiting I spent 52.000 dollars and didn’t get the respect I deserved in service department. Advisor should have gotten my truck for me

The employees responsible for greeting customers were professional and friendly. The vehicle was taken on time and all work completed very timely. The same individual who greeted me in the morning came back after the service was completed to have me sign the completed work order and told me where my car can be picked up. I also received a text from the service center advising me of the vehicle inspection and that it passed all of the inspected areas.

Poor. Suggested I needed something that wasn’t needed to be done and put on the invoice that I was the one who said the fuel pump was leaking which was false. I never noticed the car leaking oil and that’s what the invoice says I stated which I didn’t. Most likely would never come back to this Chevy again

I went in was quoted prices then when it was time to pay the price was higher I went in for new tires and a wheel alignment it took them 6 hours to get my truck done 6 hours I missed a day at work for something that should have taken a hour Carlos the adviser is a liar and not a man of his word
